At the invitation of Mr. Miguel Lecaro, Ambassador of Panama to China, a delegation from the Tuoba City recently paid a visit to the Embassy of Panama in China. The two parties engaged in friendly discussions regarding enhancing trade and commercial cooperation with Central and South American regions, international investment promotion, and employment opportunities for international students at the Tuoba City, ultimately reaching multiple consensus on cooperation.
Both parties unanimously agreed to the following:
* The Tuoba City will host a seminar and exchange meeting in Beijing at an appropriate time, with the participation of relevant Central and South American countries.
* Relevant embassies and trade representatives will be invited to attend, focusing on promoting the Tuoba City’s project planning and investment policies.
* Diplomats and trade delegations from these countries will be invited to visit Datong to conduct field inspections of the Tuoba City project and local cultural and tourism resources.
* A centralized exhibition will be held in Datong to showcase featured commodities and cultural resources from Central and South America.
* Efforts will be actively made to sign letters of intent for cooperation with these countries and to establish a normalized investment promotion mechanism.
* Both parties will jointly promote the establishment of national pavilions by Central and South American countries within the Tuoba City to build a platform for the display and sale of their products, thereby facilitating the entry of featured regional goods into the Chinese market. Panama will serve as the priority nation to establish its pavilion, taking the lead in launching display and sales operations, while encouraging other Central and South American countries to actively participate in the development of the Tuoba City’s national pavilions and the Feast of All Nations Food Court.
The reaching of these agreements represents significant progress in the Tuoba City's efforts to deepen investment and trade cooperation with Central and South American regions. Moving forward, the Tuoba City will continue to expand its international investment network to new countries and regions, allowing more of the world to learn about Datong.
