From April 2 to 3, 2026, diplomats from the embassies of Honduras, Burkina Faso, Samoa, and Somalia in Beijing visited Tuoba City for an in-depth review of the project’s planning, operational model, and international development strategy.
During their stay, the delegation also visited Huayan Temple, and the Hanging Temple, major tourist attractions in Datong, gaining firsthand insight into Datong’s rich historical and cultural heritage.
The visit aimed to promote the entry of specialty products and merchants from these countries into Tuoba City, while further advancing practical cooperation in trade connectivity, talent exchange, and cultural engagement, laying a solid foundation for future multilateral business and people-to-people exchanges.
